DIE LIEBHABERINNEN is a grotesque story that tells the story of BRIGITTE (early 40s) and PAULA (soon 18s). Both women chase after their happiness and try not to lose control over their lives.

The adaptation of the novel of the same name by Elfriede Jelinek into our present day deals with the questions of power, impotence and oppression between men and women and shows that the relationship between the sexes has hardly changed in our society today.
