In 1966, young SPIEGEL journalist Angelika Reitz discovers that Germany’s biggest serial killer Bruno Lüdke has not committed a single murder. Contrary to all newspaper reports, he is supposed to be innocent and a victim of the Nazis. Angelika searches for Bruno’s murderer in the police force of the young Federal Republic and puts herself in mortal danger.
